ENFI provides the service of ropeway design, project consulting, option study, technical consulting and EPC, etc.

ENFI is the pioneer (in 1953) in China to establish the aerial ropeway design specialty and develops the passenger ropeway, and has designed the first reversible ropeway and the first monocable circulating chairlift ropeway in China. In the 1950s and 1960s, ENFI was mainly engaged in the design of material ropeway and had designed more than 30 material ropeways of different types. ENFI began the passenger ropeway design in the 1970s and designed the China's first modern passenger ropeway in 1979 – passenger ropeway of Tieling microwave station in Liaoning Province. By now, ENFI has successfully contracted (by way of EPC) over 140 passenger ropeways of various types in twenty-eight provinces, cities and autonomous regions, including Mount Tai, Mount Huang, Mount Hua, Mount Emei, Mount Song, Mount Cang of Dali, Mount Jizu of Binchuan, Mount Shanqing of Jiangxi, Qingchui Peak in Chengde, Zhangjiajie in Hunan, Xishan Mountain in Guiping of Guangxi, Gushan Mountain of Fuzhou, Wuxi of Jiangsu, Mo Mountain of Wuhan, Hailuogou Valley of Mount Gongga in Sichuan, Mount Pan of Tianjin, Yiwulu Mountain of Liaoning, Yabuli Ski Resort in Heilongjiang, Tianchi Lake of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and Yakeshi of Inner Mongolia, as well as designed several ropeways for Albania, Korea and other countries. The construction of these ropeways has made positive contributions to tourism development in China.
