JNMC is the largest producer of nickel, copper, cobalt and platinum group metals (PGM) in China. China ENFI is responsible for completing the design work for all offgas-based sulfuric acid systems of JNMC. From 2001, ENFI has helped JNMC with the design of 300,000t/a, 530,000t/a and 700,000t/a sulfuric acid systems. Among which, the 700,000t/a sulfuric acid system was commissioned in Nov. 2008, which was the largest single series smelting offgas-based sulfuric acid system in the world at that time.
